This is my paper mache gorilla head I made for the book the One and Only Ivan.
Felt Pen Hand Art:)
When I made this art, I learned how to make things look 3D, all in 3 different stripes of colours. I had to use a ruler for the whole thing, exept for the curved parts and that's what makes it look 3D. It took a long time to do this, about a week.
Clay Masks!
We went to the Surrey Arts Centre and we made Clay Masks! I made a wolf, but it looks like a mouse. The lady who taught us to make mask's name is April. She tought us how to make slip, wich is like glue to stick peices of clay together. To make slip, you have to make lines in different dierections on the place where you want to stick the other peice of clay. Then, dab two drops of water on the lines with your finger. Then, make more lines in different dierections on the watery part and stick the other part of the clay. That is how you stick two parts of clay together. The was one of the awesomest field trips I've ever been to.
